Probably best known for starring in the television series 'To the Manor Born', Peter Bowles was born in London on October 16th 1936. Peter appeared in the first fifty-minute Danger Man episode 'Fish on the Hook' as Garnal, the highly suspicious chief of police who doesn't trust Drake for a minute. We next see Bowles alongside McGoohan playing the character 'A' in The Prisoner episode 'A, B & C'.
A very versatile actor, Bowles's first television appearance was in 1959 and includes The Protectors, Danger Man, No Hiding Place, The Saint, The Baron, The Avengers, Hadleigh, Rising Damp, Tales of the Unexpected and Rumpole of the Bailey. |
